Hot Day Equals Frozen Treats

It was a hot day so we decided to walk downtown and try out our local creamery. Carmen and David's is fairly new to our area, It just opened up 2-3 years ago. This building is hard to miss with its very bright and vibrant orange, green, and purple. When you step in it makes you feel like a kid again. The only difference was as a child all I new were Strawberry, Chocolate and Vanilla.

Here at Carmen and Davids they a have a lot of original flavors. Today I decided to try out Basil Lime Sorbet and my fiancee tried a Blood Orange Sorbet. The Basil Lime was delicious. The two flavors work for savory cuisine and the duo also works for sorbets. The Blood Orange was delicious also, because both flavors were bold the small serving was perfect without overloading our taste buds.

My son decided to stick with a classic. He loves chocolate so when he seen that they served Black Forest Chocolate Cake Ice Cream. He was in his glory.

This is a place that we have visited on several occasions. It is located right in Lancaster City. I am happy to finally have a place like this around the corner. You always see places like this on T.V. Another thing I like about them is that they change there flavors up all the time. There is a huge board with what flavors are offered for the day. Check out there website and tell me what you think http://www.carmenanddavidscreamery.com/about-us/
